Prior to our arrival and investment the young women of the village would leave their family and childhood friends and often, their virtue, behind to work the streets of Bangkok.
Today, young women no longer have to leave to support themselves, they are able to find employment in their village manufacturing cotton quilted handbags for the Naples Bag Co. They are taught a trade that enables them to maintain their virtue, stay in their village, and earn a way that affords them a better standard of living.
Our 100% cotton quilted handbags are manufactured from high quality cotton, dyes that will not run or fade, fabrics finished to resist snags and tears, and are securely sewn by workers who take pride in the finished products they have created.
